It’s crunch time in the Brunner Cup

THE prestigiou­s Brunner Cup competitio­n reaches its last sixteen stage on Saturday afternoon.

Mouthwater­ing clashes feature heavily in the draw with local derby’s involving Stockport clubs.

Games get underway at 2.30pm at all venues as the hunt to win crown green bowls Champions League continues.

Houldswort­h WMC have a Brunner Cup history and they face Poynton Sports down at Cheadle Conservati­ve Club.

There is a close game taking place at Poynton Sports and another all Stockport derby.

This time Nursery from Heaton Norris face a tough task against bang in form Victoria from Offerton.

Another intriguing game will see Crown Hotel play Altrincham Borough at Wilmslow Legion Club.
