New Mills struggle to handle Liebenberg
IN Division One, New Mills were asked to bat by visiting Dinting and were bowled out for just 71, Rudolph Liebenberg taking 5-17.
In reply Mike Parker was unbeaten on 55 when Dinting reached 75-2.
Woodley batted first at Hayfield and closed 257-6, D Oldland hitting 52 as B Higginbottom took 3-69.
In reply Hayfield were all out for 206, Gareth Davies hitting 73 as G Hill took 3-15.
Division Two Hazel Grove were asked to bat by visiting Newton and posted 180-6, Ric Burke with 41 and Geoff Noden 48 while Matt Stringer took three wickets.
Newton made light work of the chase to secure a six-wicket victory with nine overs remaining, N Tansella scoring 42, J Ankers 46 and Stuart Nugent 38.
Compstall smashed 300-8 batting first at Chapel, S Messih with 51, P Gianassi 68, Jarrad Ince 38 and J Webb 37 while Nick Smith took 3-54 and M Wagstaffe 3-43.
In reply, Chapel could only make 104 despite 43 from Andy Hibbert with D Millen taking 4-15.
Hollingworth batted first at Offerton and were restricted to 131-9, M Knight with 32 as J Thelwell took 4-22 and J Kirkham 3-22.
In reply Offerton came up just short as they closed 121 all out, J Carleg hitting 48 but S Morris took 4-27 and L Belfield 3-20.
Charlesworth batted first at High Lane and posted 209-9, Elliott Morley with 65 and S Leech 43 while Mike McCarthy took 5-60.
High Lane then saw R Manion make 34, Tyler Eiselt 39 and R Johnson 47 but Dave Wood took 6-49 to reduce the home side to 197 all out.
