New outlets to open... inside store

NEW Argos and Habitat outlets will open inside the Sainsbury’s Cheadle store later this year.

The supermarket giant has announced its new partners will open at the Wilmslow Road site from November 1.

More than 650 Habitat products will be available there as well as access to nearly 4,000 more via the furniture and homeware firm’s website.

The branch of Argos will have thousands of its products for immediate pick-up and around 20,000 that can be pre-ordered.

The move comes after Sainsbury’s acquired Home Retail Group, which owns Habitat and Argos.

Michael Broadhurst, manager at Sainsbury’s Cheadle, said: “Sainsbury’s has been part of the local community for a number of years and we are really thrilled to welcome Argos and Habitat to our stores.

“The new shop is great news for customers who are looking for easier, more convenient ways to shop.

“We’re looking forward to offering them an increased range of products under one roof.”
