Chance to turn your antiques into cash

AN ‘antiques roadshow’ is due to take place at High Lane Conservative Club at the end of this month.

It will be on between noon and 4pm on Friday, July 28 and people are invited to bring as many items – such as silver, coins, medals, curios, jewellery, clocks and watches – as they like for free valuations and appraisal.

Voluntary donations are invited at the event for the Alzheimer’s Society or Macmillan Cancer Support.
