Local businesses take pride of place
THE winners of We Love Cheadle Hulme’s Cheadle Hulme Local Business Pride Awards - Past & Present 2017 have been announces.
The aim of the awards is to engage with the local community to highlight the great businesses in the area and to bring the people and business community together.
The voting took place over two weeks and the 10 wining businesses are Turves Road Café & Coffee, J Pimlott Butchers, Snape & Sons, Rainbow88, Garam Massala , Pets Corner, Snapes Estate Agents, John Millington, Chapel Holistics and Whittakers.
They all received their awards on July 15 at a family fun day at Manchester Rugby Club in Cheadle Hulme.
We Love Cheadle was set up two years ago by Ella Worthington and Mark Wallace, with the aim of raising funds for local charities and good causes and engaging with the community in which they live.
Ella said: “A massive well done to these local businesses - all 10 of them have been crowned by the community for the Cheadle Hulme Local Pride Business Awards - Past & Present 2017 - fantastic news. The community really got behind this.”
