Time for Grange Classic

ONE of Stockport’s most famous bowling competition’s begins this coming Saturday (22nd).

The Grange Classic is an invitational event which handpicks the 64 best players in crown green bowls.

Play this Saturday evening gets underway at 6.15pm with food and refreshments for spectators all evening.

The green offers a unique viewing experience with seating all round that overlooks the bowling green.

Qualifiers run for the next four weeks – however, organisers have opted for a break this time to accommodate the All England event.

The action will take place on 22nd July, 5th August, 12th August and 19th August. This year’s big final will be on Saturday 26th August and is always well supported.
