Three agencies go for best creative award
STOCKPORT Business Awards 2017 is now in its 6th year, having been set up by Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants back in 2012 to recognise and reward business excellence in the town.
The Best Creative Agency award is sponsored by Marketing Stockport. Shortlisted companies are Bellyflop TV, Platform 81 and Trust.
All three companies have been involved in the awards in the past, with Bellyflop TV having filmed videos for the evening and both Platform81 and Trust being previous winners of different categories – so it should make for an interesting night!
Bellyflop TV are a company specialising in website video production. The business was set up in 2007 by Jonathan Robinson and since then has gone from strength to strength; it’s growth reflected in numbers. Bellyflop TV have a huge presence in Stockport, working with many local businesses and operating from Regent House. Its values of honesty, respect, viability and professionalism shine throughout, and are represented by every member of staff and by every piece of work they produce.
Platform81 is a growing digital and design agency with creative labs in both Stockport and Bromsgrove. Boasting a team of 15, the nine-yearold business prides itself on a flexible, personal approach to the delivery of tailored digital marketing strategies that make a real impact. Also born in 2007, they have evolved as an agency over the last 10 years, but core values of creativity, innovation, friendliness and passion have always remained.
Trust is a branding and digital agency which builds brands with love and trust. Their unique approach has seen them grow organically year on year, since their inception in 2011. They get to know a business, its customers, its employees and its values to bring a brand to life, whether that’s through traditional print or cutting-edge digital. Trust pride themselves on their name, it’s not a gimmick, it’s a cultural anchor and everything they do begins and ends with trust.
Helen White from Marketing Stockport commented; “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Best Creative Agency award. Stockport boasts an amazing amount of highly regarded and award-winning design and creative talent and it is great to see it being given its own category at this year’s Stockport Business Awards.
“I’m sure the judges will have a hard task in selecting an overall winner, although I think Stockport is the real winner to have such a great local talent.”
Winners will be announced at a black tie dinner at Stockport Town Hall on October 12, which 400 of Stockport’s finest business people will attend.
