New collection box schemes launched

THE Wellspring has launched two new collection box schemes in the last week.

We are looking for shops, bars and restaurants to place a Wellspring collection box at their till points.

We have also launched a Potty Mouth Swear box!

These can be placed in any business or home.

Please support The Wellspring by having a collection box and help to tidy up the English language.

Thanks to everyone who donated their Vernon Jubilee fund tokens to The Wellspring and for the many hundreds of local people who voted for The Wellspring via Facebook.

The Hatters Half Marathon took place last week, many thanks to everyone who ran for The Wellspring.

The rising numbers of people sleeping rough on our streets is very concerning, it’s affecting a wide age group of people.

In the last few weeks an older gentleman lost his job and was homeless within a matter of days.

This vulnerable gentleman spent several nights sleeping rough in our town and eating from bins before finding out about The Wellspring.
