Mayor opens new Homes group HQ

THE Stockport Homes group head office opened to the public on Monday, September 4.

The mayor, Councillor Linda Holt, cut the ribbon to officially open the office, joined by two customers, Alison and Stewart Earp, the chairman of the board at Stockport Homes, Robin Burman and the assistant chief executive, Sandra Coleing.

The reception at this purpose-built office is open from 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with the coffee shop open from 7.30am.

Robin said: “We are looking forward to welcoming customers here at Cornerstone and sharing the town centre space with local residents.

“The building offers a wealth of facilities, including the Windmill Coffee Shop and we hope that this new space is enjoyed by our customers for many years to come.”
