-

WELLSPRING swear boxes are now available for people to place in their homes or places of work.

Please consider placing a Wellspring swear box.

The funds raised from the swear boxes not only ensure that The Wellspring continues to operate but also ,with the funds raised, The Wellspring will provide additional Maths and English classes to homeless and disadvantaged people.

Please get in touch via 0161-4776344 or email jonathan@thewellspring. co.uk to request a swear box.

Basic literacy is such an important issues for many people who use The Wellspring.

It is a need that must be addressed in order for people to become independent.

Without basic reading and writing skills how are people expected to run a home and budget properly?

People become homeless for hundreds of different reasons and not being able to read or write is one of them.

The Wellspring is having some essential repairs carried out to our building over the next week which means that the main room at the project will be closed.

Wellspring project workers and health care staff will still be on hand to address any issues around homelessness or health.

We hope to be back fully operational in the next week.

Marple Bridge URC are holding a charity concert on September 24 at the URC church on Hollins Lane, Marple Bridge.

Entertainment will be by The Dovedale Singers preforming British folk songs between 3pm – 4pm, followed by afternoon tea. Entrance is free but donations are appreciated.

All proceeds will be shared between The Wellspring and Commitment for life.
