Cats and dog need your help

-

CAN you offer a forever home to one of the adorable animals at the RSPCA Stockport East Cheshire branch? For the most up-to-date information on all of our animals please look at our Facebook site ‘RSPCA Stockport, East Cheshire and West Derbyshire’, our Twitter page ‘@RSPCAStockport’ and our website ‘www.RSPCAStockport.org’. Here are just some of the loving pets looking for a loving home:

Brian BRIAN is approximately four-years-old and a Mastiff-cross. He came into our care in May through no fault of his own and even though he is a gentle dog he has found it very difficult to find someone who would like to meet him.

Sadly he has not had a good life so far, he has yellow staining on most of his body where he has been lying in his own urine and he is also very thin. Brian just loves people but can be a bit ‘loud’ with other dogs and does pull on the lead.

He has now been fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered. We would not re-home him with young children simply because when he does put weight back on he will be a large breed dog who could easily knock little ones over.

Wendy THIS beauty is Wendy who was brought into our care by one of our RSPCA inspectors.

She spends her day snoozing in her basket. Wendy would be happy with other cats and cat-friendly dogs but must have a home with a garden as she loves the outdoors.

She has been neutered and microchipped so is all ready to meet her forever family.

Midnight MIDNIGHT came to us with his brother Shadow from the Greater Manchester Animal Hospital after being found abandoned in a box by our inspectors. They are about nine or ten weeks old and are very nervous so will need someone with a quiet home and lots of patience so that they can gain confidence and become loving little companions. Black cats often have such wonderful temperaments.

Angie ANGIE came into branch care from a local vet. She has successfully raised her kittens, who have now been re-homed, so little Angie – who is only about two years of age – would love a forever family of her very own.
