The force is with festival
AWHOLE cast of characters were out in force for this year’s CheshireFest.
The annual two-day bonanza of food, music and entertainment took place over a weekend at Manchester Rugby Club in Cheadle Hulme.
Organisers Philip Osborne and Ben Harris lined up a variety of emerging artists and tribute acts for the main stage – including Take That tribute Want U Back, Dan East as Ed Sheeran and Be-Beyonce, as well as local musicians Leon Maya and The Sound.
On the Sunday the theme was #FestivalAnthems, featuring he Antarctic Monkeys, Madchester favourites Oashish and The Absolute Stone Roses and Coldplay tribute act Yellow.
Children were kept entertained by a host of popular characters, including the Storm troopers and Boba Fett from Star Wars, Beauty and the Beast and Olaf from Frozen.
And there was also plenty for the grown-ups with a beer tent offering over 30 cask ales, beers and ciders, a Prosecco and Champagne bar, a gin garden, cocktail bar and Pimms bus, plus an international street food village.
