Members urged to play part in deciding

- COUNTY SUPPORTERS COOPERATIVE COLUMN IAN BROWN

TWO important meetings loom large in the weeks ahead for the Supporters Cooperative and its members.

We would ask members to please make a note of the details , and if possible join us in deciding the immediate future of the Cooperative.

Firstly, today, Wednesday 18 October, 7.30 for 8pm in the Bungalow Club on Hardcastle Road, there is a members meeting.

The purpose of this meeting is to continue the consultation process to determine the ultimate focus for the Guardian Account.

In this respect there will be a presentation by Supporters Cooperative Board member John Giles, outlining the likely options and answering questions already raised on the subject at previous meetings, along with anything raised on the night.

Members are urged to please make every effort to attend if they can.

The final decision on the Guardian Account will be taken at the Supporters Cooperative AGM on 9 November. The venue for this is also the Bungalow Club, and we are hoping that members will turn out in numbers to not only make the decision on the Guardian Account but other key decisions including dealing with elections to the Board, nomination forms for which have gone out to the membership.

Again, we look forward to seeing you at the Bungalow on the 9 November!

Meanwhile there are a whole host of upcoming events twixt now and Xmas to keep you on your toes, so diaries out please.

Friday 3 November (from 6pm) – Community Bonfire at the Bung.
