Anti-bullying event staged for schools

A STOCKPORT business is holding a free anti-bullying seminar for schools as part of National Anti-Bullying Week.

Facility management form, Solutions SK, is hosting the event for all schools that it works with.

The seminar will features guest speaker Alex Holmes, talking about how to shape an anti-bullying culture within the school environmen­t.

The event will be held on Friday, November 24, at The Ryder Suite, Café on the Park, Park Square, Birdhall Lane, Cheadle Heath

Alex has made it his mission to educate children and adults about how to make a difference in shaping a school and community environmen­t which can safeguard and support children through challengin­g experience­s.

Alex, who has won the Princess Diana Memorial Award three times, will speak to the event delegates about his experience.

He will run an interactiv­e workshop to discuss bullying scenarios and the ways to manage these situations.
