Fall man is still in ‘serious’ condition
A WORKMAN remains seriously ill in hospital after he fell from a hydraulic lift at a construction site for a large business development.
The 29-year-old fell in a disused warehouse on Cromwell Road, Bredbury. Following the accident he was taken to Salford Royal Hospital with serious head injuries and remains in a serious condition.
The large site, at the junction with Ashton Road, is owned by Seddon Construction.
It was cordoned off following the incident, on November 2 and police were called to the scene, although there are no suspicious circumstances.
The site is currently derelict with demolition work being undertaken to ready the area for the building of Bredbury 25 Trade Park.
