NK Theatre Arts
HAVE you ever fancied being a Teecher?
Don’t worry, that isn’t spelt wrong! We are delighted to be performing the hilarious play ‘Teechers’ in February next year and are holding auditions tomorrow night – Thursday, November 30 - at The Forum Theatre at 7pm for anyone interested in taking part.
The play is not surprisingly set in a school and follows the story of three school leavers Salty, Hobby and Gail who recount their time at Whitewall High School and specifically their time with Mr Nixon the drama teacher who ignites their passion for the stage with his idealism and belief that all children should be treated equally.
Between them, three performers play over two dozen characters in this fast-moving play.
So we are looking for a cast of three who can be as comfortable playing students as they would teachers.
You can find details of the audition on our website www.nkta.co.uk and if you have any questions, why not call us on 0161 430 6570.
The play will be performed from February 14-16 at The Forum Theatre and tickets are already on sale by visiting the box office on 0333 666 3366.
There will also be bookings available for schools and colleges who may be studying the play as part of their GCSE Syllabus.
