STOCKPORT Homes has been ranked as the 40th best not-for-profit organisation to work for in the Sunday Times Top 100 list for 2018.

The company has been recognised as one of Britain’s best employers for the ninth consecutive year running.

The placing is determined by an anonymous survey completed by all staff at participating organisations throughout the country.

It takes into account factors such as good management, social principles and staff wellbeing and the company has moved up 17 places from 2017, when it was ranked 57.

Chief executive at Stockport Homes, Helen McHale, said: “To achieve our highest place in the best not-for-profit list is a credit to all of the incredible work our dedicated team do.

“I am thrilled to see us move up 17 places in a year where we moved to our new head office. That sees us in the list for the ninth year in a row.

“It is due to our commitment to be an employer of choice and to strive to improve levels of engagement throughout the organisation.”

Chair of Stockport Homes’ board, Robin Burman, added; “We have had a fantastic year in terms of receiving positive recognition for the work we do and this, accompanied by our highest placed listing in the Top 100, is a great testimony to the fantastic work of our team.”
