Have you a thirst to help these cats?

- RACHEL EVANS

CAN you offer a forever home to one of the loving pets at the RSPCA Stockport East Cheshire branch? For the most information on all of our animals please look at our Facebook site ‘RSPCA Stockport, East Cheshire and West Derbyshire’, our Twitter page ‘@RSPCAStockport’ and our website. Here are just some of the adorable animals to be found there: Whiskey WHISKEY is an 18-month-old ebony boy who has come to the branch from our Greater Manchester Animal Hospital as our inspectors were asked to help with a multi-cat household.

He has been fairly well cared for but is understandably quite nervous and as a result is going to need a home where he can learn to trust people. Ideally, until he can settle he will need a quiet room to escape to so that he can gain trust in his new family. If you think you could give Whiskey his forever home then please pop along to the cattery. Jess THIS lovely lady (below) is Jess. She came into our care via the Greater Manchester Animal Hospital after being found as a stray. We know very little about her past but one thing is for sure… she is a very affectionate girl!

Jess loves a little cuddle on your knee when you enter her pen and will give you a little head bump to let you know she’d like a stroke.

Jess is such a lovely-natured kitty and it would be great to see her find a loving home of her own. If you’d like to meet Jess then please come along to the cattery. Smirnoff SMIRNOFF is a two-yearold black-and-white short-haired cat who has come to the branch from our Greater Manchester Animal Hospital as our inspectors were asked to help with a multi-cat household. She has been fairly well cared for but is quite nervous and as a result is going to need a home where she can learn to trust people. Ideally, until she can settle she will need a quiet area to escape to until she regains her confidence. Vodka VODKA is a five-year-old male kitty who has come in with Smirnoff and Whiskey.

This little boy was living in a cupboard and will need a special family who understand that he has had a hard life and is bearing the scars of his numerous fights with others in the multi-cat home.

If you are that special person or family Vodka needs he can be seen at Bowler’s Cattery. RSPCA Stockport, East Cheshire and West Derbyshire: Bowlers Cattery, Shady Oak Farm, 200 Marple Road, Stockport, SK2 5HE. Opening hours: 11am3pm Cat phone: 07432 709198 www.rspca-stockport.org
