NK Theatre
TICKETS are flying out for next month’s production of the amazing rock musical Quadrophenia which is returning to the Forum Theatre for four nights as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of NK Theatre Arts.
The revamped performance is based on The Who’s album of the same name and guitarist Pete Townshend has given special permission for the show to go ahead as NK turn the iconic film into a stage show featuring all of the songs from the album.
The original performance was voted Best Musical in Manchester in 2012 at the Manchester Musical Awards, together with Best Actor and Best Musical Director.
We follow the story of Jimmy, who has split personalities who all take control of him throughout the various stages of the play.
There will of course be a live rock band for the show, and for fans of legendary albums such as this, rock fans and fans of The Who, then this is one performance not to be missed!
The show is directed by Kerry Day who commented “This is such a unique piece of theatre and we are very proud to be repeating the show, all be it in a revamped style this year as part of NK’s anniversary celebrations.
“We have an amazing band, brilliant cast and some fantastically energetic movement and choreography.
“We won best musical anywhere in Manchester last time we presented this show and we are all so excited to be bringing Quadrophenia to life once again.”
Featuring all of the hits such as 5.15, Bell Boy, The Real Me and Sea and Sand, you can grab your tickets for this unique presentation which takes place from Wednesday, March 21 – Saturday, March, by visiting the website www.theforumtheatre.co.uk or call the ticket line on 0333 666 3366.
