STOCKPORT’S best performance of the season resulted in a 38-28 win at home against visitors Warrington.
This was an excellent game with both teams playing attacking rugby and scoring nine tries between them.
Stockport had their strongest side this season on the pitch and they played with ambition and accuracy to score 5 tries.
Warrington made a very good contribution to the game with their backs running well and challenging a much improved Stockport defence.
This results leaves Stockport in 6th place in the table with 4 games left to play.
