Stockport Old Town

-

STOCKPORT’S first ever Street Chilli Festival came to Stockport Market last year and attracted hundreds of chilli-loving visitors to the Old Town.

This Saturday the popular market event returns for the second year, so if you’re looking for an enjoyable distraction from The Royal Wedding or the FA Cup final, there’s plenty to tempt your tastebuds from 10am to 5.30pm.

This year’s Pop-up Chilli Fest will take over The Mile in Stockport Market Place with colourful stalls where people can sample and buy an array of chilli products from 15 quality producers from all corners of the UK.

Last year people were going mad for the chilli sauces that were literally flying out of the stalls.

Make sure you comes down to stock up. There will also be a churros stall to satisfy the sweet tooth.
