Sweet dreams that are set to become a reality
A SWEET factory is asking people to invent a tasty treat to roll off its production line.
Swizzels, in New Mills, is celebrating its 90th birthday by launching a competition to invent a dream sweet.
The winning entry will then sit alongside its current well-known products such as Love Hearts, Drum Sticks and Parma Violets.
A panel of four judges will select a shortlist of four to go to a public vote.
The winning inventor will then receive a VIP tour of the Swizzels factory where they will see their sweet dreams turned into reality.
Jeremy Dee, managing director of Swizzels, said: ‘“We’re hugely proud to be celebrating 90 years of Swizzels. We’ve stood the test of time thanks to our loyal fans, both old and new.
‘“We’ve been busy coming up with exciting inventions for generations.
“Now it’s time for our fans to start getting creative and help us make the next big sweet invention.”
