Team in fundraiser

A PUB team held a darts marathon for The Christie cancer hospital and raised more than £850.

Will Pope and his team have held the marathon event for the last five years and raised almost £10,000 in that time.

Pizza Express donated pizzas to the event this year, the darts players gave raffle prizes and there were also donations from Chilli Masala and Edgeley Sports.

Will said: “The landlord and landlady at the Bungalow, Cliff and Dawn, also helped and worked very hard.”
