THE following people have appeared before Stockport Magistrates Court: ●●JOHN ANTHONY THORNEYCROFT, 36, of Ashburton Road, Adswood, admitted disqualified driving and driving without insurance. Fined £120, six licence penalty points, £85 costs. ●●SAEID POURTAJERBASHI, 33, of Kennerley Road, Davenport, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. Fined £80, 14-month driving ban, £85 costs. ●●NICOLA CHRISTINE COWLEY, 42, of Mottram Fold, central Stockport, admitted theft and having an article for use in theft. Sixteen weeks in jail. ●●MICHAEL DAVID STEVENS, 26, of Madras Road, Edgeley, pleaded guilty to criminal damage. Twelve-month conditional discharge, £85 costs. ●●TERRENCE ANTHONY FLYNN, 46, of Longford Road, Reddish, admitted two counts of assault and criminal damage. Three months’ jail suspended for a year, 100 hours’ unpaid work, £620 costs. ●●JOHN DAVID FOWLER, 35, of Millbrook Street, Stockport, pleaded guilty to theft and failing to surrender to custody and was found guilty of the use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. Sixteen weeks in jail, £200 compensation.
