Customer service awards
THE first winners of the Totally Stockport town centre Customer Service Bronze Awards have been presented with their trophies by Stockport’s BID manager, Paul Taylor.
Centrally based in Regent House, the team at Hatters Promotional Merchandise, led by managing director Jo Shippen, were winners of the April Customer Service Award for demonstrating outstanding telephone customer service, answering calls promptly, paying particular attention to their customers’ detailed needs and providing a quotation within 24 hours.
Jo is thrilled that her team’s efforts have been rewarded. She said: “It’s so exciting for us; obviously it’s a Stockport award and we are passionate about Stockport. After all, we are called Hatters! For the team it means a real moral boost, it’s fantastic and recognises their efforts in providing an excellent service to all our clients.”
May’s Bronze award winner is the popular Holiday Inn Express at Stockport Exchange. Since opening in December 2016, Carl Butterworth and his team have been blown away by the welcome they have received and are operating at near capacity every day, with returning guests appreciating their consistently high level of service.
Carl said: “I’m really proud to win this award; it says to me that the team at the hotel are doing an excellent job in customer service. It’s all credit to them”.
