Stockport Old Town
STOCKPORT Market Place has been the home to many great events and animations that have brought thousands of new visitors to the area to discover the secrets of Stockport Old Town.
Leading the field in transformational events is the multi-award winning Vintage Village, which for the past eight years has been recreating the past in the present every second Sunday of the month. As Stockport basks in sweltering sunshine and holiday season is fast approaching, the Vintage Village is bringing the holiday right into Stockport Old Town this Sunday at their Summer Holiday Fair. If you love authentic vintage, this is the place to come to
unearth bygone treasures for ladies, gentlemen and the home all at amazing prices while renowned DJs Stutter and Twitch provide the perfect playlist.
It’s a great day out with refreshments from Shakes, Batter and Roll in their delightful caravan called CarrieAnn and fantastic cakes from the award-winning Stuart Thornley Cake Design.
The Summer Holiday Fair wouldn’t be complete without the Vintage Village peep board where you can take a seaside-style selfie.
Prizes are available for the best photos posted on the Vintage Village Facebook page.
Vintage Village is open from 10am to 4pm. Sundays are a great day to explore Stockport Old Town.
