OVER the last few months we have been conducting mystery enquiries and visits to BID levy paying businesses in Stockport town centre who have signed up to Totally Stockport’s Customer Service Awards Programme.
Each programme operates for four months, the first of these is about to be complete.
Participating businesses have been provided with regular reports giving an insight into their customer service.
As part of each programme and using the results from this research, we are offering each of the businesses three free workshops where they can learn the importance of good customer service, the impact it has on the success of your business and how to deliver an even better customer experience.
We can even teach you how to increase the average spend of customers.
Over the three workshop sessions, we will be looking at three topics: ‘Customers - love ‘em or lose ‘em!’ Improve your customer experience by knowing and delivering the five golden rules of customer service; ‘Your Customer Journey’ – Identifying key touchpoints that could be impacting on the ability to gain and retain customers and identifying solutions that will have a positive impact on your customer experience and finally ‘Helping people to buy’: creating an environment and developing behaviours so that your customers want to spend more with you.
The workshops will be delivered at Totally Stockport’s office at Great Underbank, Stockport town centre and at different times of the day to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend.
The next Customer Services Programme will run from August 1 to October 31.
