IS YOUR business in Stockport town centre?

Make sure you make the most of the Totally Stockport Festival BIG Day Out and join in!

Last September, Totally Stockport’s first Big Day Out attracted thousands more people into the town centre, many of whom hadn’t been into Stockport for months or even years.

It was a great way for people to see that Stockport is changing with new shops, bars, restaurants and the new leisure facilities emerging at Redrock.

This year’s event is set to be even bigger as Mr Bloom and his Veggies return to The Plaza and the town centre comes alive with Super Heroes!

We want as many of the BID businesses to take advantage of the crowds, join in and attract new customers.

Why not dress as a Super Hero, hand out leaflets and promote your own Big Day Out special offers, perhaps have a few free giveaways such as balloons or tie some colourful balloons outside your shop to attract customers (all complying with health and safety rules of course).

In June, over 37,000 people poured into the town centre for a fabulous Totally Dinosaur Takeover Day.

Think how many new customers that could mean for your business.

The Totally Stockport Festival is a day packed full of entertainment and something for everyone across the town centre: the Frozen Show and Princess Parade, super heroes with guest appearances from Batman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America and some intergalactic buddies.

With a Roller Rink in St Peter’s Square, a Climbing Wall in Merseyway, adventures over at Redrock and the Light Cinema, the Makers Market in the Market Place and Heritage Open weekend taking place in the Underbanks, a day out for everyone.
