Hereford visit earmarked for Supporters
HOT on the heels of a very successful ‘Stockport Quiz’ at the Spinning Top, the Stockport County Supporters Cooperative board set about tackling the many elements that make up the weekly grind for County’s largest supporters grouping.
Paramount in our thoughts just now is a desire to boost the Cooperative’s membership and maintain our ability to affectively represent the interests of County supporters.
In this respect a decision was taken earlier to go for a membership drive on an upcoming match day, and this was firmed up this week when the board earmarked the Hereford game on Saturday 13 October as the date of our proposed membership drive.
This will be organised from the Cheadle End Cabin from where board members will fan out and try to reach as many County supporters as they can.
Also high up on our list of priorities is the regular meeting between the boards of the Supporters Cooperative and the Stockport County Club. This is scheduled for Monday 15 October, and members desirous of raising questions with the Club, should send these by email to info@ countysupporterscoop. co.uk on or before the deadline of Thursday 11 October.
