There will be plenty of food and drink on offer, including mulled wine and spiced cider from Bakes & Bars, Airstream chicken wraps, Crepe Chateau and Man BBQ’s festive Bratwurst.

Children will be able to get free glitter tattoos, while four-legged fair-goers can be pampered by Paws dog grooming.

In Bramhall, Light Up Bramhall will bring a Christmas market, acts and entertainment to the town, plus a lantern parade and a Greatest Showman performance, from 11am to 5pm on Sunday, December 2.

Hosted by Bramhall Together Trust, the event will see the Christmas lights illuminated at 2pm.

Another Christmas event is The Heatons Christmas Festival on Sunday, December 2, from 11am to 6pm on Shaw Road, Heaton Moor.

Santa will be in his grotto from noon to 6pm, and entertainment will be provided by the Heatons Choirs. The event will run in conjunction with the regular Heaton Moor Producers Market, featuring stalls selling hand made and home grown produce.
