Christmas Dinner Campaign is on

THE Wellspring Christmas Dinner Campaign is now underway.

For every donation of £5 The Wellspring will provide someone in need with a full Christmas dinner and a gift on Christmas day.

For the launch of the campaign we are running a competitio­n.

We have on offer two premium seats to see the show Wicked at the Palace Theatre in Manchester on Wednesday, December 19.

Everyone who makes a donation via text or web to The Christmas Dinner campaign will go in to a draw to win these tickets.

The winner will be contacted by phone on Monday, December 17.

Thank you very much to everyone who made this year’s Rucksack project such a success.

The Wellspring has received hundreds of donations that will now be put to good use on our streets. Lots of local businesses, members of the public and organisati­ons have come together and really got behind the project, thank you to everyone who has donated.

The donated items will make a massive difference to the lives of hundreds of homeless people.

The Wellspring is open everyday over the festive period and anyone, regardless of your situation or circumstan­ces, can come to The Wellspring.

Everyone is welcome, please don’t be alone this Christmas time.

Our project staff will be on site to give advice and support to anyone in need.

Our volunteers will be providing a meal service every day from 11.30am to 2pm and Monday to Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm.

The brilliant local project Seven Miles Out are hosting Barratt a fundraisin­g concert in aid of The Wellspring at Saint Mary’s Church on the Market, on Friday, December 7.

Doors open at 7pm and admission is free.

On Sunday, December 16, its Stockport County’s Annual Christmas Carol Concert which is a fantastic carol service held at the Conference Centre at Edgeley Park from 3pm.

Entry is free. Please come along and support these brilliant local events.
