Fresh challenge facing Greens

- CRICKET

IN 2018 having completed the most successful season in the history of the Derbyshire and Cheshire Cricket League, Hawk Green Cricket Club have resigned from the League for new challenges.

For the 2019 season the club will play in the UK Fast Cheshire Cricket League.

This is a huge commitment for both the club and players and one that it is hoped will enable the Club to further establish itself as a leading club in the region.

The junior section will also be leaving the D & C C L and will be playing in the Cheshire County Cricket League Junior section which will allow the Juniors to show their talent at the highest level.

The Club boasts one of the best and most up to date pavilions in the area and have an attractive ground with a superb batting wicket and outfield maintained to the highest standard.

As always we look forward to welcoming new players of all ages and if you or your children would like to join us on our new venture you are most welcome.

To do so you are always most welcome to meet us at the pavilion which is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the year or join us at our pre-season nets starting 7.30pm Thursday 7th February at Werneth School, Bredbury for Seniors or Friday 8th 6pm to 8pm for Juniors the first hour will be for age group 5-9s and the second hour will be hard ball training again at Werneth School where there will be fully qualified ECB coaches on hand to give expert advice.
