Raising funds to preserve free tickets for

- COUNTY SUPPORTERS COOPERATIVE COLUMN IAN BROWN

I HAVE recently switched my season ticket from Cheadle End to Pop Side, in order to better be able to take photographs of the game.

Locating myself tight to the boards in front of the spectators I expected to be irritated by the constant hassle of children milling around as they do.

Contrary to expectations however, I have been surprised and delighted to see the genuine excitement engendered each match day as the youngsters thrill to County’s excellent team and Vernon Bear’s welcome appearance at half time.

They may make a noise, they do leave a pile of litter, but they are very much County’s future thus it was so good to see Cooperative Board member John Giles continue his quest to keep the Community Ticket Scheme starting by opening a crowd funding account, which to date has raised over £1600:https://www.justgiving. com/crowdfunding/ community-tickets
