Express joins forces with hospice
THE Stockport Express in conjunction with our sister title the Manchester Evening News is today launching a new initiative which is in partnership with St Ann’s Hospice.
From Monday, November 25, you will be able to purchase your copy of the Stockport Express and the Manchester Evening News from any of St Ann’s Hospice shops, with profits going directly to the Hospice.
We have also teamed up with the Daily Mirror, Daily Express and Daily Star.
Eamonn O’Neal, who is the chief executive of St Ann’s Hospice said “This is a fantastic opportunity for the people who support our shops and the readers of the local papers to support two amazing local organisations.
“The Stockport Express has been serving the people of Greater Manchester for well over 100 years.
“St Ann’s Hospice has been looking after patients for almost 50 years.
“It’s a great time to launch this partnership and we’re grateful to everyone at the Manchester
Evening News group.”
Andrew Parkinson, head of newspaper sales for the Stockport Express said “This is an exciting partnership that we are thrilled to be launching.
“St Ann’s Hospice provides an invaluable service providing care to patients and their families when they need it the most.
