Woman in car arrested on suspicion of danger and drug driving
AWOMAN jogging in Stockport has suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision with a BMW.
The incident, just after 3.10pm on Saturday, took place when she was running on Styal Road, Gatley, Stockport close to the junction with Church Road. The woman, aged 34, was taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Police say the driver of the car, a woman aged 30, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drug driving.
She has been released from police custody under investigation.

“Perhaps you have dashcam footage that might assist us?
