Reggie James Hart, 82, died at Stepping Hill Hospital on June 30.

He had three children: Robert and twin sisters Louise and Melanie.

He had a wife named Judy, a sister Susan and a brother Geoff. He also had four grandchildren Shane, Reece and Alexander and Edward.

He was a chartered engineer, owner of Harts Systems. His passions were golf - he changed hands at golf down to 20 handicap on each side because he nearly lost his arm in the war – skiing, table tennis to a very high standard and he taught a champion table tennis player.

Daughter Louise Hart said: “He fought for 15 days battling on fighting ... because he probably didn’t want to hurt the ones that loved him.

“He was the most wonderful man in the world, never said a nasty word as an example, showed you love and kindness, showed you you could be someone.

“He was a man that wanted you to reach your destiny, a man that gave you that drive to try and do that, a man that gave us almost everything, a man that tried to better us, a man that showed us the world, a man that took on Parkinson’s for 30 years and fought it.

“A man that gave us the best start and childhood anyone could of asked for, a man that was there when needed, his voice so soft and reassuring, hands so strong and warm to hold, a brain so clever he became an inventor.

“Legs so strong he could leap into the air handling any fall in any situation.

“A man that achieved so many sports to a incredibly high standard. A man who loved and cared for his wife and children who he always put first as standard, a man that was so rare and grand. A man that had a six pack and loved his tools and pottering.

“A man that would give his money away to others for nothing , a man whose smile lit up your life in a second.

“A man who didn’t have a nasty bone in his body. A man I loved with all my heart for all my life.

“A man that will never be replaced, a man who was my hero, a man who was my world.

“His cuddle so loving and gentle. His eyes so blue and inspiring.

“His energy and motivation outstanding.

“A man that kept going, a man that would never give up, a man that would keep his cool, a man that could be a bit stubborn, a man that didn’t want too much fuss, a man that hardly shouted. A man called my dad Reggie

James Amazing Hart.

“You told me I loved you too much, I love you that much I am going to have to let you go... fly dad when we set you free, like the superhero you are, you fly so free with no pain, you fly stress free and free with just your gain, you fly like the eagle you are, fly across the world dad and fly back to us x.

“Your wings and soul will be missed, but your spirit will be above us.

“Keeping us strong every day. We prayed you would get better and prayed and prayed but you took it on dad until the bitter end, even when you couldn’t speak or eat.

“A true legend that made life better and complete, a true legend that will never ever ever be forgot.

“You rest that wonderful pure spirit of yours in peace cos it’s shining through us now as forever peace!!”
