IT’S been a busy time for the Supporters Cooperative recently, but there was much to be heartened by none the less.

First off Hatters Half Marathon Race Director John Giles confirmed that, in just a few short weeks race entries for this year’s event on Sunday 5 September, have already topped 100! That is brilliant news and sets us up for a final figure of somewhere between 300 and 400 by race day.

A reminder, if you fancy the challenge, it costs just £20 to enter for affiliated runners, and £22 unaffiliated, and you can do this via our dedicated website https://www. hattershalf.co.uk

Next up, it was former Supporters Cooperative Chairman Graham Privett with more good cheer in the form of news that, with 30 of the 36 available advertising spaces, reserved for local businesses, taken, we were now well set to produce our second ‘Football Season Calendar’ for season 2021-22.

Despite County fans being unable to watch games from inside Edgeley Park, or indeed any of the stadiums they played in this season and a good part of season 2019-20, we are putting together another top item with 12 photos of County fans taken in those matches, home or away, from 2019-20, and also the play off game with Hartlepool. So watch out for further news on this one!

Mentioning the Hartlepool play off game allows me to is say grateful thanks to a clutch of Supporters Cooperative members who responded to our appeal on behalf of the Club, and joined forces with Help the Hatters to assist the Club in ensuring that County supporters gained access to both the Woking and Hartlepool games safely.

Massive thanks therefore go to Paul Holt, Phil Hornsby, Joyce Talbot, Gary Kimber and Paul Thompson and Tim Audas
