Aquinas is a thriving Catholic Sixth Form College in Stockport with over 2200 FTE students. The College wishes to appoint to the following posts. All posts to start 23rd August 2021 Learning Support Assistant (Mainstream) - 34.25 hrs term time to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to access the curriculum, develop their skills and succeed on their courses. Most of the support is for A Level or Level 3 BTEC courses. Salary £18,409 FTE - actual pro-rata salary £14,510 Science Technician - up to full time (37 hrs) term time to support the science department, across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, ensuring teachers and students have the equipment and resources they need to provide excellent opportunities for learning. Salary £17,372 - £19,524 depending on skills, qualifications and experience (pro-rata for part time, term time) Photography and Graphic Design Technician - 16 Hours per week term-time to ensure the teachers have the equipment and resources they need to provide excellent opportunities for students to learn. Salary £18,409 - £18,781 FTE - actual pro-rata salary £6,779 - £6,916 depending on skills, qualifications and experience 3D Design and Photography Technician - 37 Hours per week term-time to ensure the teachers have the equipment and resources they need to provide excellent opportunities for students to learn. Salary £18,409 - £18,781 - actual pro-rata salary £15,675 - £15,992 depending on skills, qualifications and experience Catering Assistant 30 hours/term time: 8.00 am - 2.30 pm Mon - Fri (with break) Salary £17,372 FTE - actual salary £11,994 Catering Assistant 22.25 hours/term time: 10.00 am - 2.30 pm Mon - Fri (no break) Salary £17,372 FTE - actual salary £8,995 The above appointments will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association (SFCA) Support Staff Pay Scale, as specified.
