Popping up with lots of bargains
FESTIVE bargain hunters will be in their element this Christmas month when a local charity opens a special pop-up shop, packed with everything you could need to celebrate the season in style.
St Ann’s Hospice is holding the pop-up shop at its Distribution Centre in Reddish on Saturday, promising bargain offers on everything from gifts and other new and pre-loved items.
Rachel McMillan, chief executive of St Ann’s Hospice, said: “It’s been a challenging time for lots of people and we’re hoping that our pop-up shop will help customers get ready for Christmas without having to break the bank.
“As well as the new and pre-loved Christmas gifts on sale, we’ll also have some items of furniture, books, bric-a-brac and other goods for people to purchase.
“It will be the perfect place to browse and get all set for the festive season, and we’re looking forward to seeing as many people as possible at this pop-up shop. As well as being able to bag a bargain or two, people making purchases will also be helping St Ann’s to continue caring for patients from across Greater Manchester, and their families too.
“You win, and those we support win too.”
St Ann’s cares for people from its hospice sites in Heald Green and Little Hulton, as well as via a range of other community and outreach services. It is one of the oldest hospices outside of London and this year has been celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The pop-up shop will be taking place at St Ann’s Hospice Distribution Centre, Bankfield Industrial Estate, Unit A1, Coronation Street, Reddish, SK5 7SE between 9am and 2pm on Saturday, December 11.
Safety measures in accordance with government guidance are in place for all customers to follow.
