COUNTY SUPPORTERS COOPERATIVE

THE Supporters Cooperative Board were in positive mood meeting via Zoom when meeting just before County’s crucial encounter with FC Halifax Townnervous perhaps but convinced that County would do the biz in what remained of this amazing season!

There was much to be positive about starting with the news that the third and final batch of the fabulous ‘Bergara Gin’ had sold out, making a significant contribution to the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal!

We were equally pleased to have been involved in the Club’s ‘Kevin Francis Evening’ in the 1883 Suite at Edgeley Park and can confirm that a total of £2011.50 was raised via our raffle and auction in support of the Danny Bergara Statue Appeal which has now topped £26000!

Our thanks go to Kevin & all the County fans present whose support made this possible!

With the Club obviously engaged fully with the team’s progress in what remains of this vital season, time available for them to meet with ourselves has been limited.

However, the club have agreed to receive and answer pressing questions from the Supporters Cooperative if we submit same to them which we are in the process of doing now.

We will report further as soon as possible following the receipt of the Club’s reply.

It was confirmed that the Cooperative’s support of the Community Ticket Scheme had resulted in 1508 tickets being issued to 34 local clubs / community groups up to the Boreham Wood match – a positive step towards building th County fan base!

Looking forward the board reviewed the position regarding our popular Football Season Calendar and noted with satisfaction that work producing our 2022-23 edition was in the early stages but progressing nicely.
