Bargains in store at sale
NEW and pre-loved items will be on sale for as little as £1 this month, as a local charity holds a special event for bargain lovers.
St Ann’s Hospice will be holding the special sale at its Distribution Centre in Reddish on Saturday, June 25, with hundreds of items on offer.
Ryan Perkins, from the hospice’s trading company, said: “Everyone knows they can grab a bargain at charity shops, and that’s certainly the case in ours across Greater Manchester.
“But, with this Distribution Centre sale, we wanted to offer some of the amazing items we’ve had donated, alongside brand new goods, at really special prices.
“People are always telling us how much they love a bargain and this event is definitely one people can come down to for a proper browse, picking out some fantastic pieces.
“We’ll have everything from toys and games, homewares, bric-a-brac and so much more, so there’ll hopefully be something for everyone.”
Money raised from the sale will go towards helping the hospice continue to provide its free care to local patients with life-limiting illnesses.
Ryan said: “Our charity relies so heavily on the generosity of local people to continue giving support to people who really need it, and this is a brilliant way to do that – while also getting a bargain or two in return.
“We’d love to see as many people as possible come to see us in Reddish on June 25.”
The sale, which will be open from 9am to 1pm, will take place at St Ann’s Hospice Distribution Centre, Bankfield Industrial Estate, Unit A1, Coronation Street, Reddish, SK5 7SE.
