TITP restrictions and one-way routes
Picking up and dropping off:
This year’s festival features a new picking-up and dropping off area – to be referred to as a PUDO. It is located along the A823. Once dropped off, festivalgoers will then follow a dedicated path to the site. It features alphabetised stands and the festival’s only taxi rank. Local roads: Restrictions will be in place from 1am on July 7 and 4pm on July 11 on the following:
A823/Tullibardine Chapel Junction; East Hill Road; Blackburn on Castleton Road (C458); Tullibardine Road (U21) junction with Castleton Road (C458); B8062 junction with Mennieburn Road; Kinkell Bridge/C411 Junction; North of Kinkell Bridge/C459 Junction; South of Kinkell Bridge/C457 Junction; Strathallan Airfield Road (C457)/Machany Bridge Road (C458); Tullibardine T Junction (C458 / U20).
One-way systems will be in place on the following:
Drumness Farm Road (U16) from junction with A823 to Drumness Farm; Tullibardine Chapel Road (U19) from junction with A823 to Easthill Road; Tullibardine Road to Kinkell Bridge Road (U21) from junction with Castleton Road (C458) to junction B8062; Tullibardine Road to Kinkell Bridge (U21) from B8062/ Mennieburn Road to junction with Kinkell Bridge. Bus stops: Two bus stop lay-bys on the A9 at Station Road near Auchterarder will be closed from midnight on July 6 until midnight on July 11. Anyone travelling to T in the Park on a non-Citylink bus is encouraged to check their provider is registered with festival organisers. Trunk roads: From July 7-11, motorists have been urged to allow extra time for journeys on the following roads:
A9(T) from Keir Roundabout to Broxden Roundabout; A90(T) from Friarton Bridge to Broxden Roundabout; M90 south of Craigend Junction 10 to Broxden Roundabout; A9(T) from Broxden Roundabout to A9/A85 Crieff Road; A85(T) Crieff Road from A9/A85 road junction to Crieff. Peak times: The peak times for festival traffic heading to the site are described by organisers as: late morning to late afternoon on July 7; early morning to late afternoon on July 8-10. Peak leaving periods are: 11pm onwards on July 8-10 and 8am-2.30pm on July 11.
