She added: “Remember to pack any medication you need over the weekend, including prescriptions, inhalers and diabetic medicines.”

Festival- goers were also encouraged to take a commonsense approach to navigating the site, such as taking a note of where their tent is pitched and approaching a steward if any problems are encountered.

She concluded: “Arrange meeting points with friends, make sure you all know where you’re going at the end of the night and drink responsibly.

“We are proud that T in the Park takes place on one of the most beautiful festival sites in the world, help us keep it that way.

“There is no excuse to drop litter or urinate anywhere other than the toilets.”
