Enjoy Christmas Crumble

-

Local outfit Blazebuster Productions is presenting a Christmas Crumble at Strathearn Artspace in Crieff on Saturday this week.

Comrie man George Carson is the producer of the two short plays, which will be performed by local actors.

He said: “The whole show is an ideal social event to enjoy with friends and will certainly get you into the Christmas spirit.’’

Part one consists of A Comedic Christmas Carol. Based on the Dickens classic, adapted by Crieff’s Susan Holoran and directed by George, the show will see two actors performing 11 separate roles with perhaps some help from the audience when required.

This will be followed by the second play, Christmas Tears, written by George himself and looks at the relationship between a father and daughter, who have been devastated by a tragedy during a previous Christmas.

They struggle to deal with the consequences and this has pushed them apart when they need each other the most.

Tickets, costing £ 12, include a cup of warm mulled wine and a Christmas pie on arrival and are available from Hansen’s Kitchen in Comrie, Carnelian Crafts and The Red Squirrel Café in Crieff. Some tickets may be available on the door but booking is advised.

Doors open at 7pm and the first show will start at 7.30pm.

There will be a bar serving drinks to help raise funds for the Artspace.
