- Rachel Clark

The Strathearn Episcopal Churches are welcoming walkers to join them as they trek the Strathearn section of the Three Saints Pilgrim Trail.

The group from Crieff, Comri e, S t Fi l l a n s , Lochearnhead and Killin Episcopal churches will do four walks of seven to nine miles a day along the Strathearn section of the St Andrews to Iona pilgrimage from Friday, May 19 to Monday, May 22.

The walks start at 10am each morning with coffee and croissants, as well as a short talk with the history of the pilgrim path and a blessing. Each day will end at 5pm with a barbecue.

Walkers can join them for one day, or spend the whole weekend with them, including staying in the churches overnight, which must be booked by Sunday, May 14.

Those who want to join the Episcopal Churches’ pilgrimage can call Paddy Allen on 01764 655389 or email stcolumbacrieff@ tiscali.co.uk. Each day costs £ 5 plus a donation for the barbecue.
