The handover took place at last Friday’s‘Pete McAvoy #4Pete Football Festival’.
Pete, son of Peter McAvoy – a former headteacher of Crieff High School – died tragically of an undiagnosed heart condition in 2014.
He was a highly-talented young footballer and the festival is staged annually to raise awareness of CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), whilst raising money to support cardiac screening in schools.
