Strathearn Herald

Thank you all

-

On Saturday, September 9, Strathcare held our annual coffee morning in Crieff. Due to excellent support our takings increased from previous years, raising just over £800.

We would like to thank all those who attended this event or who support and help throughout the year.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters over recent years, we have been able to place an order to replace Bertie Bus, who is 10 years old. Watch out for the new bus next spring. Anne Orchardson, Strathcare

The Friends of Old St Michael’s would like to thank everyone who made the Doors Open Days event at the churchyard such a great success.

Thanks to Alastair Gourlay, Angela Baker of Kidz Week, Travis of JAR Joinery and Kirsty Scott of PKC Greenspace; Jess Smith and the Blackford Fiddle Group for entertaining the 100 visitors; Colin Mayall for historical research; Brian Smith for allowing Murphy to join us; John and Ian at the Quaich.

Finally, thanks to all the volunteers who helped to organise and run the event so smoothly, and who had the churchyard looking its very best.

Hopefully this will be the first of many such enjoyable events in the coming years. Peter Littwin, Friends of Old St Michael’s

Crieff Foodbank would like to thank everyone who donates food items and monetary donations, including the Co-op for allowing a collection point in their Crieff store. Crieff Foodbank
