Enjoy afternoon tea with a taste of Perthshire

-

It’s time to treat yourself, and there’s no better way than tucking into a festive afternoon tea for two at Taste Perthshire.

Taste Perthshire is situated just off the A9 on the outskirts of Bankfoot and is only seven miles north of Perth.

A highlight of any trip to Taste Perthshire is their famous afternoon tea, which is served in the restaurant every day from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.

This autumn, Taste Perthshire offers up their festive afternoon tea, complete with mince pies, all lovingly handmade by the local team on site.

It also includes delicious scones with Sarah Gray Jam, whipped cream and sweet treats made by Elfie and Debbie in the kitchen, who bake all the goodies fresh every day.

For those wanting to celebrate with a bit of sparkle, they can also enjoy a glass of prosecco with their afternoon tea for a small extra charge.

In the run-up to Christmas, the restaurant will also be serving a special three-course festive dining menu from December 1, ideal for treating yourself or for office parties.

As well as all your favourites, the menu will include turkey with all the trimmings and homemade Christmas pudding.

Husband and wife team Calum and Jane MacLellan own Taste Perthshire.

Calum said: “Autumn has arrived here at Taste Perthshire, and we’re getting ready for another busy Christmas season ahead.

“Our popular afternoon tea deal is back and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers old and new over the coming weeks.

“Remember to phone and book your table, as we always get really busy and don’t want you to miss out.”

There’s a lot more to enjoy at Taste Perthshire than just the food, however.

Open from 8am until 8pm seven days a week, the shops are transformed with autumn, winter and Christmas ranges.
