Chance to star in new calendar
Care and Wellbeing Co-op.
She said: “Care tends to be something that people think about when there is illness or disability and it’s often at a point of crisis so having information in advance can be very helpful. The co-op is here in the community available to help.
“We offer a community-led approach to the provision of rural care and wellbeing and are keen to raise awareness of the work that we do and the services that our members provide.
“And what better way to do that than to do that than by highlighting some of the best examples of our approach in action in the local community?
“We would love to hear from anyone who would like to help us out with this – perhaps you or someone close to you has benefited from your involvement with our members?
“Has someone you know been able to stay in their own home or has their life been made better thanks to the support they have received and the choices they have been able to make regarding the type of support they receive?
“We are looking for 12 willing participants to share their stories of successful care with us and the Highland Perthshire community.
“We will arrange to have your photograph taken and for someone to speak to you about your story and take care of all the rest!”
Anyone interested in taking part should contact Ruth Wright, project worker for Support Choices and Rural Wisdom, on email ruth.w@otbds.org or by calling 01350 729130.
