More time to air views with survey on Crieff

- JOHNATHON MENZIES

Strath residents have been given extra time to contribute to a new fiveyear vision for Crieff.

In partnership with other groups, members of Crieff Community Trust ( CCT) are carrying out a survey of locals’ views on key issues affecting the town.

Feedback will be used to create an ‘action plan’, which those behind the project have said will identify new priorities to help Crieff flourish in the future.

And a revised deadline of January 4 has been set to allow as many people as possible to take part.

Project co- ordinator Caroline Ness said: “The steering group for the Crieff Community Action Plan 2021- 2026 has received a good response to their community survey to date, but members are keen to receive more views to ensure that the new plan represents everyone across the town.

“Thanks go to those who have helped promote the survey and to everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts and provide ideas for the future.

“The survey has been extended until January 4 and it would be great to receive many more responses over the festive period before the survey closes.

“We are also holding stakeholder interviews with local businesses, organisations and groups so that we reach all interests in the community.

“There is still time to get involved if you haven’t been contacted yet.”

A similar document was created for the period stretching from 201318.

Like its predecessor, the updated version will be used as a springboard to support things such as applications for funding.

To get involved with the interviews, contact Caroline by sending an email to cness. cct@ gmail.com.

Copies can also be downloaded via the CCT website, www. crieffcommunitytrust.org.uk.

Plans are in place to share the key priorities identified on CCT’s website and social media channels by January 18.
